Annet Mahendru

Mahendru's parents were Russian and a Hindu Indian. She was born in Afghanistan. Mahendru speaks fluent German Russian, English in addition to French Persian and Hindi. Annet Mahendru is the daughter of an Indian father as well as a Russian mother. In her early teens she choreographed and performed a dance that resulted in the honor of a German TV appearance. The dance included a snow maiden from Russia who was transformed into an exciting Indian dancer. After graduating at New York's high school, she received her bachelor's degree in English degree at St. John's University. Following school, she began acting classes at the HB Studio, but she left to study improvisation in the Groundlings School taking on several comedy-related projects afterward. Her parents were an Afghani Hindu-Indian mother and Russian father from Kabul in Afghanistan. In her teens the divorce of her parents took place and they moved her from Kabul Afghanistan, to East Meadow New York. Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys star in FX's The Americans. The actress is most famous for her role as the ex- KGB agent Nina Sergeevna Krilova in FX's The Americans. The actress also appeared on Fox's The Following and NBC's The Blacklist.
